What is Mediation?

Mediation is a way for people or companies to settle disputes or lawsuits outside of court. A neutral third party "the mediator" helps them to find a solution to resolve the dispute.

What is Arbitration?

Arbitration is like a trial. At arbitration people tell their story to the arbitrator after swearing to tell the truth. The arbitrator then makes a decision in writing. The arbitrator's decision has the same effect as a judge's Order.

How do I prove what I say is true?

The best way to prove what you say is true is to bring documents that back up what you are saying.

What does mediation/arbitration cost?

Please call or email us for the rate. In mediation, the cost is generally shared equally by each person. In arbitration, the arbitrator generally decides which person must pay the cost of the arbitration.

Where is the mediation or arbitration held?

WMG has offices in Toronto, and will also travel throughout southern and central Ontario, as requested. WMG charges no additional fee for mediations or arbitrations held at its Toronto office.
